Cost-effective way to get a great start

Let's just say it: Ongoing lessons are not cheap, and if you're not sure your child will continue with music or be interested by this time next year, why waste money on lessons? Give your kid a shot by helping them be successful right away. Even tiny successes early on go a long way toward sticking with music for the long haul. It's just one reason I created this track.
Beginnings are delicate times, and there is a lot of evidence (e.g. Sosniak, 1984) that first teachers are absolutely crucial for later excellence and, most importantly, for the enjoyment of making music. In the early years, if it's not fun, why bother? My approach is to be as sincerely positive, encouraging and fun as possible in the earliest stages of learning music.
Imagine being the teacher in charge of 40-50 kids, and teaching each of them what they need to learn on their respective instrument. It's a huge challenge. Believe me, I know, because I did it for years. It's impossible to give every kid the undivided attention they need to thrive and flourish. This is another reason I've created this track.
